Several months ago, we had the pleasure of photographing the engagement of Marti and Mike at Nationals Stadium. Although the two cheer for different teams (Marti is a Yankees fan and Mike is a Dodgers fan) their love for each other is as easily apparent as their passion is for baseball…well, sports for that matter! Their destination wedding was set at the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The food was great, the people were fun, and the sun decided to shine just for these two! And as a “true sport” would have it, Marti agreed to do a “Trash the Dress” Session – a first for BoldLifestyle Photography! Marti and Mike we throuoghly enjoyed you both! Here are a few highlights of your special day. Enjoy!

Mac–these are great! I love the one with the shadow. I’m demanding a do-over wedding so that you can photograph the whole thing!

    McArthur and Ashley,

I cannot put into words how I feel about these photos and the job that you did to get these shots. You have captured what the event was all about — including all of the many different emotions going on at the event. The way you use the light that is available in that particular moment along with angles is just plain masterful.

All I have left to say is Thank You!

    My best always,
    Marti

Marti, it is always good to get a comment from the bride of the day:)! Thank you so much for everything. Ashley and I really enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait for you to see the rest! As far as the light and the angles, I was glad to take artistic risks. The fact that you and Mike fully supported our artistic vision allowed us to capture some great shots.
