During the Christmas Holiday, I had the opportunity of doing another impromptu portrait session for Hendrix Law centered around a single track, City Lights.  The photo session took place in Raleigh, North Carolina after dark in an empty parking lot.  Below are a few of the shots.  Click here (www.hendrixlawmusic.com) to hear his music.  Let me know what you think!

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing Ean Williams’s, Fashion Nation event.  The event took place in Alexandria, Virginia at Hampton Inn & Suites.  The majority of my time photographing the event was “process shooting” which narrates the story of an event.  Basically, a lot of behind the scenes stuff.  Once the fashion show started, I was front and center snapping away at the wonderful fashion of Ean Williams and the models that showcased his work.

Before the event I was able to steal away for a few minutes and photograph two models from the DC, MD, VA (DMV) metro area.  The location was ideal because it was the only location that had ample natural lighting just before the sunset.  I chose to work with Joshua Jabaut and Yaskarita Olsmos.  Joshua had a great, serious look for this set and Yaskarita had that “Angelina Jolie” mystique thing going.  Here are a few shots…

Upcoming, hip-hop sensation, Hendrix Law, is set to be the cure for all you hip-hop lovers.  LL Cool J meets Young Jeezy,  Hendrix Law gives something for all to enjoy.  After speaking with him about his musical direction, I decided the photo session should be smooth and razor sharp at the same time – much like the two artists I mentioned above.  I cranked my flash up and let the style speak for itself.  Check out his session by looking at the shots from Flickr below…
