A few weeks ago I had to travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida for business. I know, everyone back home felt “so sorry” for me being that it was absolutely freezing in Washington, DC ! Well to make things fair, I hardly had the opportunity to get outside and enjoy the weather. So when I did get the chance, I made sure I was able to capture the moment with my camera in case this “seemingly, unending freeze” decided to stay much longer than expected.

Fort Lauderdale aka “Retiree Haven” is a nice, easy going pace to the Southern Florida lifestyle. It’s Miami weather without all the high-prices, glitter, and glam. Although I prefer all that “crazy Miami stuff“, I can tell Fort Lauderdale was a nice, chill spot to relax and enjoy the warm weather.
